During the opening times of our surgery premises the telephone lines are always open and they remain open throughout the lunchtime staff breaks. The telephone numbers for DVMP –

DVMP doctors continue to provide emergency cover for their patients between 18:00-18:30 after the practice closes during a normal working week. The current emergency number to ring will be given to you when you telephone either the Kirkby, Broughton or Askam surgery numbers between 18:00-18:30. Please listen carefully to the whole of the answer machine message to obtain the correct number to phone in an emergency situation.
Please note that after 18:30 during normal working days, until the next time DVMP opens (and also when it is a bank holiday or weekend) NHS 111 provides the out of hours cover for DVMP patients.

DVMP remains open during lunchtime breaks. However, except in an emergency situation or when delivering a repeat prescription request for example, we respectfully ask that our staff may have an uninterrupted lunchtime break.
DVMP doctors are on duty throughout the whole of every weekday during normal working days. NHS 111 will provide emergency cover etc …
